In Adelaide the tap water’s renowned for being the worst in Australia. People go to great lengths to get good drinking water from anywhere but the tap.
The West End Brewery Charity Fountain on Port Road in Thebarton (TH-E-BAR-TON) has raised over two million dollars from people collecting water. They take their own containers and pay two dollars for fifteen litres of filtered ground water. So producer Nikki Marcel went to find out – what’s so good about the water at this modern day village well?
