With its soaring synths and epic soundscape, ‘Spring’ is aptly named and released in a timely fashion.  This is the third single from the forthcoming album, ‘Get Up’, produced by Luke Bertoz (Dappled Cities, Art Vs Science, Bluejuice) and features guest vocals from Sydney artists Tales in Space and Benfield.

Happyness is both the first single and first chapter of Swimwear’s debut record Night Air, the origin point of a tale of burning love and love burnt out. The song is a story of a night out, in the warm summer air and the ground humming beneath his feet, when anything and everything is possible.

Loosely based on Richard Yates’ 1960’s novel Revolutionary Road, this song captures the lovers’ first moments together – alone, in the corner of the room, everyone has disappeared and everything lies in each other. The first laugh, his hand on her wrist, her hand on his shoulder. Moving, to the corner of the room, and it’s as if they’re the only two people left in the world. When We’re Alone leaps forward in the story. They are now alone, together. She waits on the back porch until she knows he is asleep, joining him only then. He mimes sleep, and takes to the garden when he hears her breath calm, then finds himself missing something he so desperately needed ridding of.

Ticket 2 Mars are excited to release their debut single “THIS FEELIN”.

The track features elements of 70’s funk mixed with modern production and a great summery vibe to tickle your ears with funky goodness.

The bands creator Adam Leatherbarrow has recently partnered with long-time friend and producer Luke Bertoz (Tales in Space) to complete the outfits debut album which will be released as a string of singles over the coming months. 

Produced & mixed by Luke Bertoz and Mastered by Ben Feggans at 301 Studios, the track is delightfully nostalgic and super modern in its production which makes it a solid alternative pop offering. 

Recorded between Adams home studio on the Sunshine Coast of Australia and Lukes studio in Coogee, Sydney, This Feelin’ is a song written about Adams wife Dani and their recent move from the big smoke of Sydney to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

It’s a song about a road trip and escaping the confines of a life in a big city with all of its stress and negativity and moving to a better place both geographically and mentally.

The first single off the album, “THIS FEELIN” is a great introduction to the bands debut album and a solid alternative pop track in its own right.
