I absolutely love what this artist is bringing to SoundCloud. He's an amazing musician (plays like five instruments, OK), and his arrangements are genius. Be sure to check out his EP when it drops!

Earlier this month outcast sent me a preview of a track that was going to be on the EP, and though I liked the preview, it felt like it was missing something, so I figured out the BPM and added a simple beat to it. Well, he enjoyed it a lot and sort of suggested that I do a full edit. At first, I wasn't sure if I really wanted to, but I'm always wanting to try something new with my music and so this presented a prime opportunity to do just that. Not only did I add a beat, but also the guitar and the cello sound at the end and a gate (LOL, see previous post today :P) to the entire original song clip. Anyway, it was a pleasure to work with outcast's song, and I can't wait to hear what else he has in mind. :)

It's been a really rough past few days and I don't feel like writing a description... but here's my musical description of it...

Well, you are probably wondering where on earth I went since I used to be so active on here... I'm not even sure how to describe it honestly. Long story short, this year has been really bittersweet thus far, and though I've still been working on music off and on, I haven't been very motivated to stay active online. The tracks are developing much more slowly. My original plan for my new album is probably not going happen that quickly either, haha. :P but that said, I'm still working on music and here is the title track from the album! I will try to be more definite as far as release dates very soon...

I have lots more ideas. Just need the time, energy, and drive to start fleshing them all out. Thanks for sticking with me, everyone! Feel free to message me with new tracks and other updates of your own as well. :) real life is so demanding lately that it is hard to keep up with all my Internet contacts.

Alternate version? Yeah, the original is percussive acoustic, but I love this electric guitar take so much that I wanted to release it first, haha. The end is my favorite!

First Breath (Alternate Version)

My take on the popular “Happy Birthday” song. A relative requested a custom version made by me to be her birthday gift this year. I immediately had the genre of funk in mind before I even started, but it took me a week or so to get the first concrete ideas recorded. From that point on, it took less than a week to complete the recording of all the parts (electric guitar, electric bass, and ukulele) and all the audio processing. It was a blast!

Still No Words

This is my first track with extended portions of electric AND acoustic guitar (starring also my bass!). It is a journey of a song. It's the first song I've made in a while that I got really excited about during the production and made me realize that even if I have less time to devote to making music, I can still find a lot of enjoyment in it. This is also my longest original composition to date.
