Communication is interwoven with the fabric of time.
Sometimes we tend to sprint to solitude thinking, hoping, and wishing that we can spend as much time there as needed.
To recharge, clear minds, or to relax and that when we return to our everyday life we can pick up where we left off. Sadly, life does not work as we always expect it to work.
I'm constantly reminded that the world owes you nothing, and if you need a reminder you will always receive it in unexpected ways. I returned from a week long vacation today to the news of my grandfather, my last grandparent, passing away, and with the funeral being tomorrow morning in New Jersey, it looks like I will not be in attendance. Love and prayers to my family.
I didn't learn until a few years ago that the things in life you want but don't have...you have to find them or make them. That includes deeper connectivity with friends and family. I strongly implore you not to wait...to live. Seize everyday. Once time is up and doors are shut, prying them open its impossible. It's been a whirlwind of emotions and so I did what I know best. Encapsulate those who have shaped me into who I am, fused them in my art,   allowing their life, legacy, and love to live on forever. My sister expressed the importance of giving flowers to those you love and cherish. Clarence Parrish...this bouquet is for you. My lively star.
