Lauren Nikohl - Trust in the Vision (Spaceship Earth Remix)

A tribute to one of the sweetest souls ever to walk this planet, Autumn Ward, released on her birthday 1/5. She lived her life with the pure intention of spreading kindness. I will never forget the first time I met her at Winter Werkout 2018. We were passing by each other in a huge crowd of people. We both stopped and gasped, hugged, immediately told each other our birthdays, and started chatting away, talking each other up, just completely enthralled in each other's smiles and energy. It was as simple as that. She described it as "euphoria", and that's what it was, naturally.

I originally recorded this song with a stream of quotes from our messages. I wanted to incorporate poetry she had written, too, but it didn't feel right to 1. share feelings and information she told me in confidence, and 2. use her poetry without her permission. So, for the public edit, I wrote my own poem based on themes and words she used in her poetry- Which makes up the lyrics to this song, along with quotes she shared publicly. The full poem didn't make it to the song, just bits and pieces. So here it is:

Autumn winter sunshine 
Invisible, yet still entwined 
In our hearts, and our minds 
Throughout the rest of time 

No act of kindness was ever wasted 
You brought joy to all our faces 
That resonates here still
Your laugh still echoes with a trill

This is the soul you are, were, and always will be 
Although you’ve been buried, you’ve planted seeds
Streams carry seeds to rivers, giving them a chance to grow
Fighting off the pollution within the undertow

You always saw the world with love in your eyes
With every season, you reflect the sunrise
As the earth spins round its axis everyday
