I'm pretty sure I've spent way more on music than gear, but I think a good selection is key, and flashing lights are fun but secondary.. A journey through different moods, all with the undercurrent of rhythmic imperfection.. dust and grime, so offbeat it works, strange samples repeated until they click. You may feel as if you have nothing, but you are feeling and thinking, so you have emotions and thoughts, and that is somewhere to start. An intuitive mixed journey through melancholia with a touch of eternity, and eternity with a touch of melancholia. Every object includes the shadow behind it, the part we don't see but assume is there. In the end there is a conscious decision to be joyful, so much so that I step out of my skin momentarily to take a short trip. Each second takes me from Los Angeles to New York, Leipzig to Mexico, Switzerland to Australia passing through Iran, Madrid to Bogotá, Berlin to Luzerne, Vienna to Paris passing through Argentina, and finally back into my body in my kitchen in Denver Colorado. Pardon the volume increase in the last third but my ears fell off and I was too distracted to notice.
