Sunrise set recorded live at the Dakar Music Festival on November 11, 2017. Spending 10 days in this African wonder was a truly incredible experience. From playing underneath the African Renaissance Monument, visiting the small island of Goree, gazing upon the wildlife at the Bandia reserve, and befriending so many wonderful locals, Senegal will remain close to my heart throughout this lifetime. Thank you Africa.

Goldcap - Sunrise Set Live @ Dakar Music Festival 2017 (Senegal, West Africa)

Dear Listeners, 
It’s been overwhelming how many of you have written and asked for this year’s Fusion set.  One person even counted the weight of the tears he had shed every time he came here, and found the set was not online yet. So why did it take so long? 
 
It was a very intense four hour set at the Palapa, and it was a very intense week before that. To go back and revisit those moments required quite a bit of strength, which I didn’t have until now. Obviously the intensity of revisiting those moments at the Palapa had a lot to do with the death of our dear friend Bas Engels. 
You might think that I'm loco for saying this, but I know Bas was there with us, celebrating life and death, guiding me through the set and even creating some magic, when my computer froze and I had to restart it, while improvising on a drum machine. Normally the recording would be lost then, but this time it was just there as if nothing had happened. Without him you wouldn’t be able to listen to this now. 
I want to thank Bas for the special magic he created on so many occasions.  Also I want to thank Eule and his team for their foresight and faith to pull me slightly out of my comfort zone, and into this perfect Sunday morning setting. And, of course, I also want to thank all of you, because 
music sounds better with you.

Campo Sancho is a small independent festival, detailed and home-made with Love and Dedication…Fonders say festival but it’s actually like the most welcoming party in a field you’ve ever been to ! It's located deep in the Hertfordshire countryside, less than an hour from London. They have taken their learnings from 25 years of Carnival, numerous warehouse parties, boat parties and joyous gatherings and planted them all in a stunning, magical site, surrounded by trees.

For the 4th Edition, Jim and Matt (Sancho Panza & Campo Sancho Fonders*) have invited me to play with them also with Psychemagik, Bill Brewster, Maurice Fulton, , Al Mackenzie (Field of Dreams), A Man called Adam (Live), Coyote & Is it Balearic, Stuart Patterson (Faith), Freddy Love, Andy Wilson (Ibiza Sonica)and many more...So I opened the session at midday spreading all around the field balearic vibe with some funky stuff...Enjoy the Mix and share the Love

This week we welcome UK based DJ, producer, and remixer Pete Herbert who boasts a prolific career spanning over the last two decades. 

As well as running a record label, radio show, and streaming service, all respectably titled, Music For Swimming Pools, he’s the brain behind the infamous Atlas Records store ins Soho during the 90s. His DJ sets effortlessly weave in and out of Disco, Balearic, and House in all their forms.

Future Disco Radio - 069 - Pete Herbert Guest Mix

I recorded this mix yesterday afternoon after Jat's funeral (Tuesday March 2nd). It was such a sad day and so emotional for me with the memories of my brother Jat going through my mind. Over the past 25 years we always found a way to share music together with so many good moments and memories. I did this mix as way to share my deeply sad feelings of loss. This mix is for him as a tribute and for Love of the music which reflects my deep emotions and my spirit. 

Rest in peace Hermano Le Jit you always gonna be there in spirit.
