Here’s part 2 of JBAG's new single 'Through Blue' featuring the singer of Polish electronic band Kamp!

Following in the footsteps of last summer’s mighty ‘Mogadisco’, 'Through Blue’ unfolds another sad yet happy melody albeit locked into a slick, pulsing groove. Topped by the boyish vocals of Tomek Szpaderski - he who with his two Kamp! accomplices is soon putting Poland on the map with a personal and inspired blend of indie-dance – 'Through Blue’ takes a meaningful turn bringing extra depth to an already endearing, emotive backing track led by nostalgic steel drums and pianos.

As well as JBAG's useful instrumental mix, this second 4 track EP includes reworks from Continental label mates Mjolnir (Indonesia) taking a phat darker, deeper route (did you say big room?), Saint Pauli (Germany) opting for hands-in-the-air bliss (and the euphoria to match) whilst James Curd (Australia), fresh from signing to Exploited, has let his imagination run wild and provided extra vocals for a slightly more introspective skippy number.

This 17th records release on JBAG’s own imprint Continental, adds yet another nuance to the label’s palette of dj-friendly underground pop music.

Bringing a new dimension to deejaying, the London-based Franco-Italian duo comprising of Jerry Bouthier (dj/sound-designer, longtime Kitsuné collaborator) and Andrea Gorgerino (the pair's studio/musician virtuoso) is now performing live dj sets as a unit with Andrea playing live keytar over JBAG's own productions and other faves mixed by Jerry. Catch them on a stage near you soon!

Onefold Digital may still be in its infancy, but the label's latest release, Reflection, proves that age is just a number when it comes to serving up incredible sounds. 

The original mix from Tollerance Beatz, featuring Kadey James, is pure house at its finest. All about stripped down, back-to-basics beats, its undeniably infectious top-line, 'I need reflection', pulses through and ensures any crowd will be hooked from the off.

On the flip side, two remixes from London producer Ghostee and our very own TufKut. First up, Ghostee, whose layers of percussion and frantic builds give us a complex, underground sound. While TufKut toughens up the mellow original with a gritty bassline and mechanical, whirring synths - two re-works we can certainly hear lighting up crowds across the summer.

Promising French producer, Rico Wright, kicks things off with "De Ja Vu" a  thumpy head nodding approach to a can't miss Dionne Warwick classic!  Label boss Cloak Dagger follows suit with "Brooklyn" a melodic groove heavy homage to the seedier side of Manhattan's 5th borough! NYC edit kingpin, P Sol,  carries the vibe with "Lover" a sensual bedroom rocker with a familiar hook to help set the stage for many a late night rendezvous.  Capping things off tastefully is Mexican rework legend Joseph Terruel with "Man In Woman" a sultry slow burner with a couple of proverbial voices sure to refresh the sonic palette!
