Tiny Injuries finds Tamar redefining herself in the wake of her dad’s passing, and what she finds often isn’t flattering, as she works her way through grief and into acceptance. 
“We all go through life and have experienced things that affect us and cause problems, whether we know that at the time or not,” she says. “Lots of anxiety and memories we can never rid ourselves of. Some of them are small, and some are bigger but they are injuries that remain with us. And it’s not about ‘poor me.’  Everyone internalizes these injuries, and none of them are ‘tiny.’”

“After my last album “Tiny Injuries” was released in 2023, I could feel myself slowly emerging from the dark cave of grief. Some days I would feel more positive and excited about things,  but then other days I would take ten steps back and be right back there. I desperately want to change, to feel okay, and there is also a side of me that wants to hold onto the sadness. Sometimes holding onto the sadness of loss is the only thing that keeps that person around,  and I struggle with the fear of forgetting them. All the songs on "Good Times for a Change" feel like meditations on being somewhere in between the willingness to let go, and the desire to hold on... a time capsule of the internal dialogue I have with myself everyday.”

"Tiny Injuries" is my third full length solo album to complete the trilogy. The first two being "The Restless Dreams of Youth" released in 2021 and "Start at the End" released in 2022. The inspiration comes from the idea that throughout our lives we experience moments that leave tiny  emotional or physical injuries. And as we grown older,  we try to forget about them or hide them, but even the tiniest ones can resurface and we become forced to deal with the scars. No injuries are ever really tiny.
