Le Wat Pho (thaï วัดโพธิ์, wát pʰoː) est un des plus grands et plus anciens temples bouddhistes de Bangkok. Sur huit hectares, le temples abrites une multitude de stupa et un immense Bouddha couche (พระพุทธไสยาสน์). Allonge sur son lit de mort, la statue mesure 45 metres de long sur 15 metres de haut. Les pieds sont incrustes de nacre représentant les 108 états de Bouddha.

Un bâtiment spécialement dédie abrite la statue, le flot de touristes circulent sans interruption pour photographier le Bouddha. 25 boles sont disposes le long de Bouddha pour recueillir les offrandes des fidèles. Le son de la piece chutant redonne dans les bols. Nous vous offrons quelques minutes de cette mélodie...

Notons aussi que le Wat Pho héberge une école de massage thai et de médecine traditionnelle réputée.

Somewhere in the north of Thailand, near the Thaton river a monk community expects for donation for the temple. They speak with people on the side of the road with huge speakers playing music and many religious symbols for sell and of course donation boxes aswell.

The festival takes place on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar, whitch is for westerners in November.

Geckos are unique among lizards in their vocalizations. 
Almost every night, from Indonesia to Laos, we heard this nice sound just before the sunset.
Not so easy to catch, the sound of Geckos is one of our favorite sounds of nature in south east Asia!
