Joe Arroyo (1955–2011) was an unrepeatable creator. From Colombia’s Caribbean coast, he forged a sound that crossed borders and generations. His voice did more than perform melodies: it told the stories of a people, of a rhythm born from mixture and mestizaje. With Joeson, he left a legacy that remains alive, because he understood that music is both memory and freedom.

“La Tortuga” carries that essence. It is a song that may seem light, yet in its cadence it reminds us that life does not need to rush to have meaning. Colombian born and based, T.A.M seeks to establish himself with a unique style, where he mixes raw, hypnotic and tribal techno with characteristic sounds of his culture, it is normal to find fast and hypnotic percussive sounds , mixed with melodies, cumbia and caribbean roots.
