Bringing you two very differing mixes of ELY’s single ‘The Neck’ off the artists new album EP1,  taMe continue their thirst for experimental forays into the unknown, forging electronic interpretations of  the music that captivates their imagination. Ely ‘The Neck’ is a dream original track to strip back down and rebuild to add the taMe signature sound.

Two mixes here, the first, the ‘Tunnel’ mix is a bumping, grooving, funked-up ride that just keeps on going with beautiful segways and a drift-like feel that is sure to take listeners on a blissful and landscaped journey.

Mix two, the ‘Ambient Mood’ mix is one of those ‘as you feel it in the moment’ interpretations, where taMe draw on all their influences to make a tapestry of sounds that oddly seem to work. This is an altogether intricate production that could be a ‘surprise’ moment or deemed just plain leftfield.

London and Zurich-based dj/producer duo taMe hit the ground running in 2017 with their 11th release on taMe Music called ‘Adventures in Time’. This two-tracker is yet another strong release with ‘Inertia’ and ‘Walking in the Void’ the two dancefloor weapons that offer the cerebral punch to the head. Both take you through the unorthodox spectrum of sound that taMe craft with effortless skill, whilst showcasing the duo’s incredible ability to shift on a dime through lows and highs and everything in between.

‘Inertia’ the lead track of the two, is a slab of purest taMe electro fused with a techno undertone. Littered with intricate percussion and an intermittent, catchy 303 top line, this is a real bumpy ride sure to get all the bones and muscles working in tandem on the dance floor. The guy versus girl vocals creep in and out and add to the vibe already evidently strong in this production, creating a smooth layering on top.

‘Walking in the Void’ is a trip through space where it can be imagined that the journey never ends and instead takes you on a pilgrimage through various sound landscapes. This is a beautifully constructed track in true taMe fashion that is synonomous with their style and sound. There’s a good deal of melody and plenty of unpredictable transitions on an ever increasing upturned curve.

taMe ‘Adventures in Time’ should be a ‘must have’ in your musical arsenal for the early part of 2017 and will guarantee big reactions from your audiences!
