Emmo Yaa Gurraaleo is a folk song of  Affan Oromo common  around Horo Gudru Welega around 200 km northwest of Addis Ababa. My child hood memory is filled with this and many other folk songs that were performed by uncles, aunts and everyone who participates in the call and response form.  We didn't need professional bands for  weddings and holidays  Abbabaa Abbashuu, him self from Horo, tries to perform it with minimal instrumentation but still the instrument sounds louder than him or the group that responds to him. I would have loved to hear it  with no instrument just with the call and the response. The photo is taken from flicker it is Lake Fincha’a which is found in Horo Guduru.
