My first and maybe last full length solo LP and it always bothered Me when ppl did'nt  listen to it in order! I wrote every song on this with or about the people I love most in this world and many of them play on it. In the midst of lockdowns, getting stuck in Canada, bad news left and right, I just really wanted to put out something HONEST. This is all about love even when it's "angry"

So, My friend got a cool new 909 drum machine clone thingy and wanted to try some "happy" beats but I'm such a Debbie Downer, I wrote a song about the last couple time I visited LosAngeles: First time I was just a kid and cried on the phone w/My Mom, then years later, I saw that Suicide Squad movie and.... Dammit.  Adam Beach. Why? So, anyway, I played bass and wailed my lil heart out and a big thanks to My Sister, J , for adding some synth wiggly bits and guitar!

I wrote this in response to the fact I got fvckin' COVID and can't taste or smell ANYTHING and it just feels gross.. Also there's some political subtext about the botched and ultimately unresponsive half-a$$ed approach Ontario in particular, and governments in general have to an ONGOING pandemic they seem to be trying to "wish" away, by desperate grasping at "normal". I thought a blues-style lyrical pattern was fitting. - Tami

a kind of reimagining of all kinds of music as fluid with a starting point of a 90s RnB type sound, but OUR version. There's some #hiphop , #dub and #electronica in there, plus a waltz + an acoustic thing! Will probably put a whole album out with alternate versions n stuff

kind of an oldschool RNB/Indy  or post-rock thing We did for our latest release, "X", a concept album built around experiences we've had in many kinds of relationships, from romantic, to how we interface with things like colonization, capitalism and politics.  This one's a bit more "traditional" sounding, closer to a 70s sound than a 90s vibe but also fairly "groove rock" as well! 
it's essentially about being in a friendship/partners with someone who's been sucked into a sort of conspiracy theory void OR living in a society where that "void" is normalized, seeing how damaging it can be, and trying to accommodate it, but ultimately, walking away, pleading for them to come to their senses.

A little something , mostly nearly finished songs. Stuff that feels "wintery" I guess, the first few are songs about stuff from school when I was younger. Most of these were recorded in Toronto awhile ago, but the guitars and percussion were mainly done by Irshkalla Fernandes in Brazil and Goa, tho She did drop in on us in TO. J did pretty much all drums but sometimes I looped Her playing from other songs or just little snippets She recorded. Vocals are all over the place, sometimes Mine, Sometimes J, mostly both of us. All these were recorded in Reaper, which I highly recommend! The onl VSTs or whatever are some EQ and synced delays, all hardware otherwise. Anyway, hope ya'll enjoy it.
