Summer Memory 2023

This album, "Human in Nature," was created during my junior year at the University of Sydney. Through music, I explore various emotional responses humans have in nature: from the tense atmosphere of fear and evasion, to the helplessness and insignificance felt in the vast ocean, and the excitement and madness of a primitive tribe. These pieces reflect an amplification of everyday emotions, serving as a release from the suppressed feelings of urban life. Each track incorporates field recordings set against the backdrop of nature, further processed through Ableton Live to showcase these extreme emotional states. I am immensely grateful to my music mentors, Laura Altman and Alexis Weaver, for their endless support and inspiration throughout my musical journey.
