This song serves as the theme song for the original live-action TV series, "The Doodlebops". 

The reprise ending version of this "We're the Doodlebops" theme song results in "Thank You" and was released on CD.

During the episode's ending credits from the original live-action "Doodlebops" TV series, an instrumental version of the "We're the Doodlebops" theme song was heard playing, but leaving the final lyric intact.

The theme song was first heard during the opening sequence (being the original TV version)and was released on the "Rock and Bop with the Doodlebops" CD. 

Additionally, the "Rock and Bop with the Doodlebops" CD doesn't have the original TV version of this theme song, and the extended version takes the TV version's place. The 'TV version' is basically a trimmed-down version of the extended version of the theme song. However, the original 2003 "Get On the Bus" CD has both the TV version and the extended version of the "We're the Doodlebops" theme song.

The extended version of this theme song was also used in the "We're the Doodlebops" music video during some Season 1 footage sequence in 2004 or 2005. However, some clips from Season 1 episodes, "The Move Groove" and "Look in a Book" are shown in this music video.
