House Of Lucy is a special project by three friends and music producers from Warsaw, Poland (TAMTEN, Ivan Bayor & FOPA) who also happen to organize a mysterious event called "Lucyna" on Half Year's Eve (like New Year’s Eve but in summer). It is a local thing with lineups consisting of DJ's and bands with very different musical backgrounds. This genre bending and melting situation, together with an utterly open-minded audience, creates some of the most unexpected encounters. This is the place where dub meets new wave, post punk meets house, electro meets jazz... This is the place where House Of Lucy comes from. Following the lyrics on the opening track:

"...welcome to house of Lucy
you can do anything at house of Lucy
anything at all
the only limit is yourself..."

Dark 80-ish synths, guitar riffs, dubby basslines, aggressive percussion, haunting vocals, and some soft cozy spots … does it seem a bit much for one record? This is House Of Lucy after all, the only limit is yourself.

LUCYNA TAPE 01: Nowa Ziemia [LUCYNA002] is the first installment of a brand new series of compilations that tries to capture the elusive spirit of mysterious LUCYNA festival - the highly conceptual party and the holiday of half year's - an imaginary tradition that the crew tries to cultivate since 2018 experimenting with the form of an event and doing it bit different each time.

'Nowa Ziemia' - the name of one of the scenes at this year's edition - became a sort of laboratory for contemporary dance music taken beyond the obvious context of the club into the bosom of nature. Just like inclusive gatherings away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this compilation provokes reflection on dance as a form of individual expression.

Warsaw based record label Lucyna Records marks its first Outsiders episode with a mix of Trip Hop and Dub by label affiliate Miraz, DJ and selector active among local crews in Poznań and Warsaw, Poland. 

With roots in live bands and broadcasting, he is known for his taste spanning dub, trip-hop, post-punk, trance, new age and leftfield extravaganza, all usually reflected in his effervescent sets. For Lucyna, he chose to tell a dense, unrushed story hinting at chillout room spirituality, unpredictable dub experimentations and gritty urban landscapes from the turn of the millennium.

Polish-Belgian tastemaker Kreshik announces his first Huveshta Rituals release entitled Clairvoyance Is The Dance; a landmark compilation celebrating the worldwide talents he had met throughout the years and an introduction to the large sound spectrum of the newcoming label.

Altered state sounds across sub rosa lands make up the 18 tracks on ‘Clairvoyance Is The Dance’ compilation, all promptly linked together by the label's head honcho.

After 10 years of spreading the sound in various places around the world, Kreshik has decided to honor and praise his sidekicks. The pashmina is a shawl type clothing whose best use is to fashion and regulate temperature of your body. It also shares the name of a Fribourg-based duo; consisting of Vincent Gross and Nicola Marthaler. Rather than being seen as a traditional duo, they are a self-described as a support group. Supplying each other with unearthed tunes and meeting in the middle to showcase a sound derived from years of diligent music curatorship. 

Music affiliated veterans of the Fribourgean scene, their contribution are best observed within their various activities. For one, Nicola co-founded TRNSTN Radio, a broadcasting station whose identity is enthralled by being a place for creation, gatherings, experimentation and reflection. Vincent as the other, enriches the scene as a member of the committee of legendary statused Fri-Son, as well as having co-founded Ablette Records with his partner.
The music behind this record is something of an ode to their eclectic music taste and blithe personality. Influences of proto-trance, early goa and nods to early 2000s breakbeats as familiar references that are wrapped with a contemporary twist. A departure in sound from their previous works, the focus of this release is reflective of their heterogeneous sets; psychedelic soundscapes, downtempo oddities, soaring bass lines and care-free melodies. The sonic pallet weaved together by these two music seamsters has generated the wildest harmonic reverberations. Los Pashminas, a combination of materials to make a soft, yet sturdy piece of clothing. A suitable metaphor to underline their idea of a cathartic understanding of when to push and when to let go.  An amalgamation of their domesticated exotism of obscure music, style and comfort, pseudonymised by these two characters.

In 2018 in Bogotá, producer Halb Maschine and artist Ela Vann joined forces to bring Dot Drama to life. After several years of collaboration, they present their EP "Surcos" on Pildoras Tapes. The EP features 6 tracks that explore the sounds of Synthwave, incorporating distorted vocals, classic drum machines, and saxophones that evoke the industrial sound of the 1980s.

We are pleased to introduce these types of releases that delve into different genres of electronic music. That's why we decided to invite Filmmaker, Spinal, Tarqvino, and Panama Papers for the B-side of the tape, creating new versions more focused on the dance floor.
