"Passionate since the tender age of 5 about music, he started collecting records 10 years ago.
After cutting his teeth at local parties, he soon got invited to play and record podcasts for various collectives around Europe (LMML, Childhood Intelligence, Beau Mot Plage, Le Gram VG, YAY, Opal).
In 2019, he co-launched the record label Nottetempo.The aim of the label is to publish music from friends and new names, without focusing too much on the dancefloor vibes, and willing to share all kinds of electronic music."

Emerging from the Romanian scene back around ten years ago as an accomplished DJ and producer, Bucharest's Funk E has been on a circuitous path since then, taking in gigs all over the globe as well as a residency at Underground in Ibiza. 

Despite releasing on a number of prominent labels, he's always kept a pretty small footprint; focusing on quality rather than pumping out a stream of tracks and mixes.  This one is no different and hints at an artist who's been steadily refining their craft.  In it you can hear the evolution of his sound; clearly with one foot in the Romanian landscape in which he cut his teeth but possessing an uncommon sophistication and depth.
