'The Sun Is Parallel' album out 11 November 2022

Mehmet Aslan follows last year's Domo single with a return to Planisphere Editorial for a new single in collaboration with prolific percussionist & performer Valentina Magaletti. ‘Garden’ finds the polymath musicians in organic and pristine form, drawing from their own experimentations with the form as well as influences such as Mark Hollis and Talk Talk's most austere and compelling work.

Known for her work with Nicolas Jaar and Charles Hayward, as well as her more regular in celebrated British psych band Vanishing Twin, Magaletti’s impermeable technique provides the ideal, watertight structure for Aslan’s tumbling, psychedelia-tinted electronics. Nocturnal and almost noirish in texture, Garden’s sophisticated arrangement offers a tantalizing glimpse into the atmosphere of Aslan’s upcoming and much-awaited debut album 'The Sun Is Parallel', due on Planisphere Editorial later in November 2022.
