Biography

Tangent was formed in 2010 by Matthew Bate, Tony Gardiner and James Amstutz, each with their own styles and influences but all with the same goal.....to make something different in music, something that moved away from the norm.

Since its birth, Tangent has grown in many ways, changes in style and feel as well as changes in members with the loss of James in 2011 and the addition of Paul Buckley in 2012.

One thing that hasn't changed is our dedication to creating music and our goal of something different to the masses.
