You can think of Chris Imler as a Berlin based drum legend! He played drums for Peaches, Golden Showers, Puppetmastaz, Patric Catani and so many others! This is his solo-debut-album, produced by Dirk Dresselhaus (Schneider TM). Imagine Alan Vega, DAF, Silver Apples, Hasil Adkins and Joe Meek being played and performed by one person! The Album is called "NERVÖS" (Nervous)... one thing's for sure: It will make you nervous in its very own way!

I just ate a salad for dinner 
The best one in the supermarket 
It lured me away from the counter 
But poisoned my gut in an instant 
With layers of ripe plum tomatoes 
And crispy bits hidden within it 
All swimming in soft mayonnaise it's 
A savoury sweet combination 
So sick I was I thought I'd snuffed it 
The last one that I'm ever eating 
They say it's because I'm a target 
A magnet for salads they're saying 
The problem could well be my liver 
The problem could well be my karma 
If only I had been successful 
If only I had been more healthy 
If only I had been more noticed
Or maybe I have too much talent
Too brave and too honest & friendly 
It's clear to be seen that the salad's 
Foremost motivation was envy 
Could it be the fact of the matter 
That I was so sly and so cunning 
In times of great woe and despondence 
The salad was caught unsuspecting 
And ruthlessly cruelly pursuing 
A dish of both fame and importance 
I swallowed it down without mercy 
And suddenly salads all over 
Stood up on behalf of their comrade 
The dressing was finely concocted 
The balance of flavours was fitting 
But Rational doctor Sound Judgement 
Whose thinking is frankly outstanding

Put forward his case oh so clearly 
The salad had far too much mayo

tAngerinecAt are Eugene Purpurovsky and Paul Chilton - songwriters, producers, composers, and multi-instrumentalists based in Wales, UK.
Their influences range from artists like Auktyon, Grazhdanskaya Oborona, Gesaffelstein, Son Lux, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds,  My Dying Bride, to the ethnic music of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and the films of Sergey Parajanov. 

The duo toured Ukraine where they were founded, headlining shows throughout the country, Russia, and the UK. After moving to the UK, tAngerinecAt has extensively toured across the country.

As tAngerinecAt they released two albums - Many Kettles and  H.R V.I.P.  In August 2021 they received a Help Musicians award to release their highly anticipated album "Glass" based around Eugene’s personal experiences as a neurodivergent person, severe trauma, acute poverty and Chernobyl disaster survivor, and a queer multiethnic refugee activist from Ukraine. The album is set for release in 2022. Their recent singles Roses from Blood, Something Broke Inside and House of Shards accompanied by its music video have been notable successes. 17th January saw the release of their collaborative single Anti-Lullaby with Norwegian artist Runa de Luna.
