DJ dood can be found riding the waves of the local Vancouver electronic scene, focusing on creating a soundscape that encourages people to connect both with each other and the audio. Selecting to evoke feeling with a classic groovy bass line or familiar vocal; tones of hip hop, RnB, jazz and disco can be found floating over her selections of house, deep house & techno. Outside of the booth, dood has been hosting dance opportunities and showcased an art installation at Bass Coast 2023. She now serves as the Program Coordinator for Van Mural Fest and the Program Manager for Public Disco, curating community-based dance opportunities in unconventional urban spaces. Find them bouncing around the local club circuit at venues like Vantek, Industrial Garden, Village Studios or The Birdhouse and tune into her monthly radio show, ‘Sup dood?’ on Bside Radio. You can also catch her Bass Coast debut Friday, July 12 at the Cabin 8-9pm!

Super Best takes place on the third Tuesday of each month on B-Side Radio at the Beaumont Studios. The Beaumont Studios is located on the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
