Born in Moldova, Tania started her stage career at the age of 5. When she was 8 she immigrated with her family to Israel, where she continued her classical education in Violin and Ballet, and soon fell in love with the rhythms from around the world that are all over in the cultural melting pot that is Israel.

New Violin Single MAMALIGA
The Virtuoso Violinist Tania Vinokur, as well as a dancer, vocalist and a  drummer has been captivating audience all over the globe with her violin. Tania's mesmerising performance spans from  oriental to latin, combining the classical and gypsy music.
Born in Moldova, Tania started her stage career at the age of 5. Immigrating with her family  she continued her classical education in Violin and Ballet, and soon fell in love with the rhythms of the world that are in the cultural melting pot that is Israel.


 Tania draws the inspiration for her music from Sephardic, ethnic, classical and gypsy music. From the first sound, Tania raises her energy to heaven and in a unique performance accompanied by a band of talented musicians, a violin virtuoso with dancing is revealed, alongside a charismatic, captivating and magnetic theatrical presence.

In recent years, Tania has performed in Europe, America, Thailand and Cuba and at festivals among them the ADE festival in Holland. Most recently she has performed at the TEDx Jaffa event where she received an ovation for the most original performance that simultaneously combines dancing and violin playing.

Adon HaSelichot is one of the oldest known jewish prayers, liturgical poems, in the canon of High Holiday prayers. In Sephardic communities, the piyut is at the center of the Selichot service, recited daily, until after Yom Kippur. The piyut has become well known across the Jewish communities of Israel, and is sung in most synagogues. The poem, written in acrostic form, focuses on God's omniscience and awareness of the sins and failings of every human.

This is a Sephardic medley, part of a Jewish Violin Compilation, with the most beautiful songs in the ancient Jewish-Spanish culture . The language of the songs is Ladino spoken by the Jewish people in Spain before the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492. Those who did not convert to Catholicism spread in Europe and kept the melodies and songs within the families through centuries in  countries such as Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and more. Today the Sephardic culture is being preserved in Israel and around the globe. This is a very exciting Violin Instrumental version. Enjoy

 In recent years, Tania has performed globally in Europe, America, Holland, Thailand and Cuba as well as on various festivals stages throughout her career. Recently she has  appeared on TEDx Jaffa during which she received an ovation for the most original performance at the event. This honour praised her distinct combination of dancing and violin playing which Tania states is “…the most natural thing for her to do.”
