Never Give Up by Taniesha Mills

Taniesha is the eldest of three children. She was born on the 15th July 1982. She began to sing from as early as five years of age during which time she grew to fear the Lord. Taniesha was baptized age 10, at the Refuge Temple Apostolic Church of our lord Jesus Christ, off Maxfield Avenue, Kingston, Jamaica.

 Taniesha is a past student of Lennon High School. She graduated in 2000 and then went to study at the Ashe Ensemble Academy school of Performing Arts until 2003.She also study at the UWI open campus where she hold a UWI certificate in computer application for the office.

 She began to lose her way and left church and began to sing secular music for around six years. During this time she still feared the Lord but wanted to experience life outside the church walls.

 By 2006, Taniesha faced a life and death experience which brought her back safely into the arms of the Lord. She attends the Refuge Temple Apostolic of our lord Jesus Christ Curatoe Hill, May Pen Assembly where she presently worships Taniesha currently performs duties as a choir director and Sunday school teacher Taniesha is also a ordained Senior Missionary ..

 When she is not singing, Taniesha loves to study the word of God and write songs, she preaches and teaches at various churches when called to do so.

 Her most favourite location in Jamaica is her home. Taniesha admits to not knowing what the future holds but knows that if the lord gives her continuous life, she would like to Pastor a church, not just minister in song.

 When relaxing at home, she loves to listen to Amy grant, Ayeisha Woods,Chevelle Franklyn, Sister Scully, Shekinah glory choir and Hillsong.

 In 2010, Taniesha released two singles Oh I Love you Lord and Don’t Let Go and is presently the leader and founder of the gospel group called Chance of Praise.

 In 2011, she entered the JCDC, Gospel song competition for the first time and successful made it into the top ten with a song entitled – Get Ready.she also made the top ten for the year of 2013 and was awarded two sectional prizes entails Best lyrics and Best arrange..

 Taniesha does not see herself simply as a singer or songstress but as a minister, she ministers in music and is poised to take the world by storm – she has an explosive personality and there is no stopping her, her zeal demonstrates that there are no boundaries in God and with God. Watch out for this young woman of God who is a glowing expression of what God can do when he places purpose at the fore of one’s life.
