CHRIS NORD DJ SET / INTERVIEW
  ◈ Techno ◈ Bush Techno ◈

Chris Nord, DJ and producer from Salzburg in Austria, discovered his passion for electronic music already in the early 90s. When you find him behind he decks in a club or at a festival, you can expect a floating but forward driving mix between minimalistic deep tech and minimal techno with a dark and brooding touch, spiced up with signature groovy elements.

In terms of production and his style, Chris always kept various musical options open. His own productions vary from stripped down progressive influenced sounds to more minimalistic and bass heavy (Minimal) Techno tracks with a certain dark note.

The one thing in common for all tracks, is the energy in them, focusing that on the dance floor. During his career, Chris has released and remixed on labels such as:

Earl Grau started djing in 2012, since 2015 he also successfully produces his own tracks. His many years of experience in the event and music business flows beyond his own music into various projects: For example, he is one Pilot of the Air Horse One and co-founder of Subios Records.

You can expect fast and dynamic mixing based on minimal and melodic techno influences. He himself describes his style as a "rushing train without stops" and he can definitely fulfill this statement.

Wenn die pure Tiefe des Klanges den Körper zur Bewegung drängt. Wenn der Geist eins wird mit dem Spektrum aus Frequenzen und Tönen. Wenn Monotonie durchbrochen und wieder fortgesetzt wird. Wenn sich Raum und Zeit verlieren - dann ist der Druck erreicht, den wir meinen. Der TIEFDRUCK. 

TIEFDRUCK setzt sich zum Ziel, der Subkultur des Techno mit all seinen tieferen Spielarten in Salzburg und Umgebung eine zusätzliche Basis zu schaffen. Die Artists sind handverlesen, die Locations bekommen eine besondere Athmosphäre verpasst. Techno in Reinform, der unter die Haut geht. Minimalistisch, treibend, melodisch, flächig, roh, laut, tief, bisweilen dreckig.
