Paper has been pushing the creative envelope since 1994.

"Sometimes tracks are just too good to leave alone, so we asked the Paper family of artists if there were any bits of the catalogue they wanted to remix. Recycled is the result. Big hitters, underground bubblers, forgotten gems and leftfield wobblers all get re-rubbed and re-imagined for dancefloors far and wide".

Last Knockers edit - a great unwinding remix of Chris Todd (Hot Toddy) and Jim Baron's band project 'Crazy P', who have been releasing on Paper Recordings since the early 1996.

Reinhard Vanbergen reveals first taste ‘Helectrix’ of forthcoming album.

The project is a playground of cross-era experiments revolving around the guitar. Combining 60s-jangle and psychedelia with modern beats, the multi-instrumentalist cooks up a sort of retro-futuristic surf rock. Timelines united in lucid melodies, weaving in and out in a masquerade of guitars.

The album is a tribute to Reinhard’s long-time guitar-manufacturer Guttlin Guitars, with all instruments on the record except beats and synths made by him, and all tracks taking their name after his guitar models.

Danish producers/musicians Arto Eriksen and Fridolin Nordsø form Sun Creatures, a new Danish outfit whose music bring a sprawling, riotous force to hip-hop inspired jazz compositions.

Their new single ‘Bang Rak’ pulls no punches: a head bopping groove is hardly installed before the pair begin to swirl and contort their instruments around it. Distorted guitars and screeching horns in a steamy procession of sublime funk schematics.

Way back when Kraftwerk invented the very first machine, they never could have dreamt of how technology would go on to overwhelm our lives and turn us all into machine-dependent drones. Actually, maybe they did exactly that but we just decided not to listen. Either way, the revolution of the machine has well and truly taken place and we'll have to just spend from now until eternity bowing down to our new electronic overlords.

As we seek to find new ways to worship our glorious binarian leaders, the very best thing we can do is throw ourselves head-first into the machines and see what we can make of all their fancy features.
