On the latest session we presented ARtroniks, he released BTR002 a while ago with us!

Belgium’s 140 frontman ARtroniks has been involved in music production for a good few years now. Having been influenced by various genres, he discovered dubstep along the way and was instantly captivated by its deep and eerie edge.

His upfront percussion drenched in an obscure atmosphere has been encoded on diverse imprints such as DUPLOC, Wheel & Deal, Biscuit Factory, Basskruit and Dungeon Beats to name a few. ARtroniks’ electrifying mid-range, punchy arrangements have always been something that stands out in a mix, yet he does not shy away from gentler and more uplifting shades of bass.

Drawing back from his previous musical journeys, he implements techno-infused and down-tempo concepts to his music - the foundation for his now accredited “techy” sound.

Cardiome:

Cardiome is a new project of but he's been making beats and DJing since 2010.

Under this alias, He is bringing you a wider range of what Drum and Bass has to offer. From Halfstep, Liquid, Neuro to Jungle and the DNB classics.

He was a part of the Memento crew who hosted some Drum and Bass parties in the Ghent area.

The people of Melbourne tune into Riddim Yard at 11am every Friday on PBS 106.7. Catching a two hour history lesson in Jamaican foundation music from Rick Howe, a record selector specialising in Ska, Rocksteady, Roots, Dub and Dancehall. 

Rick Howe plays a seminal part in Melbourne’s rich music scene.  With Riddim Yard hosting the likes of Johnny Osbourne and Channel One Sound System to name a few, Rick keeps people informed with a true salute to the traditional masters of Jamaican music. Honoured here at Modern Hypnosis to have Rick put together an uninterrupted mix of the highest quality. 

“This mix has been specially prepared for Modern Hypnosis ahead of the next Babylon Fall @ Sub Club 3rd March, with bass heavy selections built for Sound System. Listen LOUD!”
