Hello everyone😊! It's been a while since I last posted, haha. So, here's a piece on the viola accompanied by the piano. 
They are only virtual instruments, but I recently recorded it with my actual viola, and the music will be released in the hours/days following the publication of this video. Finally I created this music for nostalgic purposes.
Honestly, I'm a little disappointed with this piece because it took me a lot of time to realize it, and I think the result is rather mediocre. Fortunately, I learned a lot from it in terms of composition and discovering what I like and don't like to do in music. More pieces will be coming soon because I have already composed several, which I find much better than this one.

Flight of Memories - [Original Composition for viola and piano]

Hello everyone 😊, here's a new composition for the viola that I created some time ago.

When I was younger, I was very interested in history, wars, significant events, and recently, I came across a story that deeply affected me.
This story is about the Ohka, the kamikaze cherry blossom...
I find this aspect of war very moving, and I wanted to share it with you along with my music. I hope you enjoy and are touched by this video.
I also recommend watching the short film "The Cockpit 2," from which most of the images in the video are taken. It tells the story much better. This short film is truly poignant.
In my upcoming videos, I plan to increasingly associate my compositions with stories that I'd like to convey. I think it will often be about war in general or connected to strong feelings and emotions.
Haha, I apologize for the wrong notes. There was a particularly challenging passage on the viola due to the high notes. I guess I'm silly for composing things like that ^^

Hello everyone 😊 , here's a new composition for solo viola. This piece heavily emphasizes harmony, and the arrangement of the strings on the viola compelled me to use many thirds and fifths.
Once again, the video delves into a historical aspect, this time focusing on France, my country. My intention in this video is to pay tribute to the French soldiers who fought and died for France. However, due to the duration of the music, I may not be able to show much.

Throughout this composition, I sought to express the profound emotions associated with these historical events. I hope to pay homage to these heroes, even if only in a small way. And I believe that the viola, with its expressive and rich voice, can allow me to do so.
As a composer, my hope is that this piece will touch hearts and provoke reflection on the immeasurable courage of those who gave their lives for France.
Happy listening to all, and thanks to the heroes of our nations who have given their lives for us.🙏

Hello everyone, ☀️

Allow me to present a new composition for solo viola. This composition is based on arpeggios, the purpose of which is to begin and sustain the musical phrases. I'm particularly fond of this technique, which is often found in Bach's suites x).

I also wrote a short story, although I realise that writing is not really my forte 😅. This story evoked for me the atmosphere conveyed by this music.

Here it is in full:
"Do you remember Earth? It's forbidden to you, a reminder from the galactic authorities. A world once prosperous, now abandoned, devastated by a disease that has rendered its atmosphere toxic and deadly. It's a wild, dangerous place, where nature has reclaimed its rights over the remnants of what was once our home. Yet, this is where you find yourself, after your ship is suddenly struck by a wandering piece of debris, causing critical damage to the hull. In a moment of chaos, the control systems collapse and the ship loses complete control. You're desperately fighting to restore stability, but it's too late. The ship hurtles towards Earth, an uncontrollable trajectory through the toxic clouds. The crash is violent, shaking every part of your body vigorously. Flames erupt as the ship crashes to the ground, creating a deep, smoking crater in an already devastated landscape.
The landscape before you is both foreign and familiar. Lush vegetation has engulfed concrete and steel structures, with trees weaving their way through shattered windows, vines winding around pillars. Once bustling streets now lie silent, except for the wind howling through empty buildings and the distant cry of an unknown creature. Earth, your Earth, has become a distant echo of what it once was.
You proceed cautiously, your oxygen mask in place, your heart heavy with nostalgia. Each step brings you closer to memories. You see the park where you took your first bicycle ride, the school where you learned to write, the house where you grew up, loved, and lost. The house where your wife remained, succumbing to the disease that marked humanity's departure from Earth. Tears flow down your cheeks, mingling with dust and sweat. You fall to your knees, submerged in the weight of your loss and solitude.
You are alone, yet you are home. The Earth may be forbidden, it may be dangerous, but it is yours. It's the cradle of your history, the canvas of your dreams, the mirror reflecting your hopes and fears. You rise, wiping your tears with the back of your hand. You've lost much, but you still have much to gain. There's a chance for you to fight, to survive, to find your way back home. It's this thought that gives you the strength to persevere, to traverse the remnants of a world that was once our world, searching for a future in the heart of your past... musically yours ♪♫."

I've always been captivated by the atmosphere of the end of the world, of a devastated land and above all by the nostalgia that grips those who contemplate this devastated world.

Leclair was born in Lyon, but left to study dance and the violin in Turin. In 1716, he married Marie-Rose Casthanie, a dancer, who died about 1728. Leclair had returned to Paris in 1723, where he played at the Concert Spirituel, the main semi-public music series. His works included several sonatas for flute and basso continuo.

In 1730, Leclair married for the second time. His new wife was the engraver Louise Roussel, who prepared for printing all his works from Opus 2 onward. Named ordinaire de la musique by Louis XV in 1733, Leclair resigned in 1737 after a clash with Guidon over control of the musique du Roy.

Leclair was then engaged by the Princess of Orange – a fine harpsichordist and former student of Handel – and from 1738 until 1743, served three months annually at her court in Leeuwarden, working in The Hague as a private maestro di cappella for the remainder of the year. He returned to Paris in 1743. His only opera Scylla et Glaucus was first performed in 1746 and has been revived in modern times. From 1740 until his death in Paris, he served the Duke of Gramont.
Leclair was renowned as a violinist and as a composer. He successfully drew upon all of Europe's national styles. Many suites, sonatas, and concertos survive along with his opera, while some vocal works, ballets, and other stage music is lost.
