We have been wanting to bring Serbian DJ/Producer Boris Mijolic aka Mass Digital onboard for a while now. Hailing from Serbia, Boris grew up gaining inspiration from music from a very early age. Exploring his father's tapes and later vinyl, he has always believed in the power of melodies. This clearly reflects in his productions, which are some of the best in the vast world of Organic House.

Experimenting with soft piano, pads and strings and infusing them with a perfectly crafted melody, Boris has been able to create some magical tracks which have found home on renowned record labels like Kindisch, All Day I Dream, Hoomidas, Sol Selectas to name a few. His music has been a staple in the sets of stalwarts like Above & Beyond, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. This month Boris joins our little Distant Grooves family with a beautifully crafted guestmix.

The last four years has been an exciting escalation for the
underground electronic music scene in Indonesia with the emerging
presence of TANTRA, a techno group created by long time friends
Bharatha Yudha and Ibam Adam. Acclaimed by their peers, the local
media and big support from their followers, one of their turning point
would be the moment when they received awards in 2018 from Paranoia
Awards for ‘Group/Duo DJ of The Year’ and ‘Podcast of The Year’. An
experience that they’re humble to be a part of and definitely gave
them a major impulse for things they’re going to do next.

TANTRA has proven to be a major force when it comes to the dancefloor,
successfully providing different kind of electrifying senses of
techno, minimal, deep house to afro tech on different occassion and
venues such as their flagship event in Jakarta: Tech On Sunday,
Elephant in The Room and afterhours Enter The Void. Even with all
those variables, their followers has always found that one distinctive
sound and that special kind of connection that can only be found when
you’re listening to TANTRA - that goes deep within their music
production also.

The last 6 months, they’ve been releasing club bangers such as
electro-based synths track “Kala” for Berlin’s Jean Yann Records 4th
Anniversary, “Maya” with Beatfreak Recordings and melodic techno track
“Tarkashur” for Awen Records in Spain, which the latter two was
produced along side Hudi Ardianto - another talented Indonesian DJ and
producer who then co-founded their own label Guru Recordings in 2019
with their EP debut release ‘Asura’.

As the movement of underground electronic music has grown bigger and
larger both national and Asia scene, 2020 will be another turning
point for TANTRA; setting an upward motion to a higher level of music
production and performances that will cut through any surface. Just
wait, be ready and see!.
