Matrix is an artist who embodies diversity, whether that's as part of the Matrix & Futurebound project, garnering over a hundred million streams, scoring a UK Top Ten house single under the Goldtrix pseudonym or through his role as a pioneer of brooding neurofunk alongside his brother and Virus Recordings label owner Optical. One of an elite few producers to have achieved a string of commercial hit records whilst maintaining a position at the forefront of underground drum & bass, Matrix boasts a long history of respect amongst his counterparts.

The first solo release from Matrix in almost a decade, 'Let's Go Back' fuses the raw, uncompromising spirit of his early productions, with the ferocious energy and contemporary standards which have made his cuts with Futurebound so successful. Intense, apocalyptic and expertly crafted, 'Let's Go Back' stands firmly at the cutting edge of drum & bass music in 2019.

Matrix began his career with singles on such legendary labels as Moving Shadow, Metalheadz, Prototype and Hospital Records, before the release of his seminal 'Sleepwalk' album on Virus Recordings -considered by many as a key chapter in the foundations of drum & bass. His own imprint Metro Recordings was also heralded as a defining part of this journey. With early releases from Ed Rush & Optical, DJ Fresh, Dom & Roland and DJ Fierce, it played host to many of the leading names who went on to shape the genre. More recently Metro has become known for it's enduring alliance with Viper Recordings, delivering the immensely successful Matrix & Futurebound partnership. We’re going to take you on a ride to the deep corners of drum’n’bass with this release… Having a beautiful cinematic orchestral breakdown in the middle of his remix, Chris.su, who needs no real introduction to drum’n’bass music lovers, kickstarts the release. This track would go perfect for any drive-by scenes in your imaginary movies - just as much as the ground-shaking version of Mob Ties that handles such a vocal arrangement which will always keep your car on the right track! This arrangement worths paying attention to with its fat and killer badass bass-lines.
The release couldn’t be round without offering a proper banger for your imaginary fighting scenes too. Thus, the wrestler of serious beats, Groove Mind comes into the picture. A returning artist to our label, he knows pretty well how to please the crowd - injecting some dope video-game-soundscapes into his neuro rework. Meanwhile, no closure of a release would be perfect without travelling to the Far East. Now, we’ve got, Ninive - a brand new signing to the label - completing the quest with his spooky junglist vibes, making this imaginary Original Soundtrack a whole and compact package!

Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan; was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 10th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.

TOBAX summons the kindred spirits of the EATBRAIN horde with his FRENEMIES EP, which follows his 2019 EP “Seized Moment” EP and an appearance on the “Divergence II” compilation as the next part of a long collaborative history between himself and EATBRAIN. From the titular collaboration with MC KRYPTOMEDIC to the uniquely melodic 12 INCHES, FRENEMIES features four full frontal & furious Drum & Bass tracks in the style for which TOBAX is so well known.

Jay Faleye otherwise known as Tantrum Desire, is an electronic producer/DJ from London, UK. His love and passion for Drum & Bass music escalated since the early 2000s and has remained strong ever since.

In late 2006, Tantrum Desire released tracks such as “Dreamscape” on Heavyweight Records. His music attracted many peers which followed onto DJ’ing at residential clubs in London, also receiving air time support from BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra. By late 2007, he was then picked up by Drumsound & Basslinesmith and signed to their very own Technique Recordings. 

Since then, the Londoner has had many releases leading up to his successful worldwide anthem "Reach" in 2011. An explosive single hitting over a million views on YouTube, holding the Number #1 spot on Beatport for over a month and being one of the most rotated singles in the Drum & Bass scene. This received great support from Radio presenters and DJs such as Zane Lowe, Fearne Cotton, Fabio & Grooverider, Annie Mac, Pendulum, Andy C, Benga & Skream, Sub Focus plus more. 

Dividing his studio time, Tantrum Desire has been busy with his live shows throughout the years, touring in many cities across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. 
In addition to this he has affiliated with labels such as Universal Island Records, Ministry of Sound, 3beat, with also building a history in high demand remixes for likes of The Wanted, Laidback Luke, Rusko, Matrix & Futurebound, Wideboys, Utah Saints, the list goes on. 

In early 2015, Tantrum Desire released his single "Oblivion" featuring vocals from Solah, selected as one of UKF’s Top tracks of the year, taken from his debut album “Diversified” which was then released in the summer on 2015. The LP went in the Top 10 release charts on Beatport and was nominated Best Album at the Bass Music Awards sponsored by Sony. He supported the album with international tours, performing at clubs and festivals such as Ministry Of Sound, Avalon in Hollywood and Shambhala Festival in Canada. 

The future is bright for the fact that Tantrum Desire has become one of the most exciting production outfits to date, with the fire to innovate and take things to the next level.
