PREMIERE: Wacko & Leedman - Never Was (Aree Remix) [sequence]

Most talented artist and renowned label owner Solee is joining our Ritter Butzke Records community with his single “Carant” in 2021!

Driving as a clearly club certified track “Carant” pushes and punches with a16th bass and a catchy melody. Joyful and emotional voices, rising arps and a huge Juno- 60 like pad create a blissful mixture of pathos, beat and melody. A must-have weapon for the dance floor!

Gabriel Ananda approaches “Carant” with a roughly ten-minute epic journey with tons of variations and keen eye to detail and perfection. Colourful and always coming up with new ideas this one is for the deep club moments and of course for the headphones at home.

Also making his Astral Records debut and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Yule' is Aree. Italian artist Francesco Aree aka Aree first emerged in 2016 with a pair of releases via Three Hands Records. The Naples resident has spent the better part of a decade perfecting his craft, eventually leading to projects via Infinite Depth, Ethereal Community Records and Wood Records, while world class DJs Adriatique, Adana Twins, Fideles, Maceo Plex and Tale Of Us have all been supporters along the way. Continuing on an upwards trajectory, Aree now makes his Astral Records debut with a powerful rendition of 'Yule'. Drawing on the sensibilities of the original, the duo rework the foundation with broken beats and shuffling percussion bringing a contemporary state of mind. Resonating perfectly against the breakbeat backbone are the serene vocal phrases, striking at opportune moments, while devilish effects and bleepy sonics provide additional colour onwards to a balmy break and slow burning finale. A heady interpretation from Aree to cap off an excellent release for Astral Records, one where Abime, Main Leaf and Aree all make impressive label debuts.

With the fourth Realm Of Consciousness compilation, Tale Of Us shine a light on the artists whose work has shaped their sets in recent times.
There are contributions from Afterlife’s longtime regulars like Recondite, Adriatique, Mind Against, Woo York and Vaal. 
From those who have come through the label in more recent times: Ae:ther, Mathame, Agents Of Time, Innellea, Fideles and Kevin De Vries. And, as always with the compilation, there are new faces: Colyn, Blausch, ANNA, ARTBAT, Coeus, Lyke, Murat Uncuoglu, Lehar & Aldebaran and ENØS.

Following their standout track “Asgard” on Odd Echoes Vol.1, ENØS now present the full spectrum
of their productions for their debut EP on Oddity. 

Brothers Michael & Derek Harnischberg, showcase their characteristic melodic, dark and energetic sound through their  ̈Eternal Roamer ̈ EP. The title track represents the duo’s sound very clearly, with gently rolling drums, atmospheric textures and a recognizable main hook synth. The haunting melody will catch your ears and repeat in your head.

On the remix duties for the lead track is Yubik, who’s no stranger to the label. On his 4 AM resurrection, he takes the main track to a darker and deeper realm, with a twist of grooving 4x4 percussions and some epic pads.

Next up is  ̈The Healer ̈ which was included in the latest stream of label bosses Fur Coat. Probably the most energetic track of the pack, filled with driving stabs, worthy of any peak time moment in a DJ set.

To round up the EP, they deliver two magnificent melodic cuts. First  ̈The Picture ̈ which slowly builds with their quirky main arp, until it drops down into some warm synth stabs, making a complete banger. Lastbut not least on the package, is  ̈The Profane ̈ a very rhythmic cut, showcasing their ability for their trademark synths and sound design.

“Eternal Roamer” is a debut EP that will not disappoint and showcases the talent and bright futures of these talented brothers.
