Nick Newman specializes in producing electronic music that can best be classified as Organic House and Electronica. Deriving influences from Techno and Trance, the British-born artist has fashioned a deep melodic style that is characterized by its warm meditative quality, and ethereal textures. Based in Atlanta, Newman has been recognized by industry-leading labels including The Soundgarden, Guy J’s Armadillo Records, Manual Music, Stripped Digital, and more. His intuitive melodies appeal to a broad global audience, as listeners experience an instant connection to his music. In 2013, Newman released his first tracks under the name Seamless Beat. In contrast to Newman’s current sound, Seamless Beat’s tracks ranged from darker Techno and Progressive Breaks to Ambient soundscapes. Seamless Beat’s first album, Colors, was released on the legendary label JOOF Recordings. It was listed on Beatport’s Progressive House Top 10 Release Chart for several weeks and received favorable reviews from leading music magazines. Newman stopped producing as Seamless Beat in 2016. After further refinement, he fully reinvented himself as a true Organic/Electronica House artist and released his first productions as Nick Newman in January of 2019. His new sound garnered much attention and made frequent appearances in the sets of leading DJ’s such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Airwave, Antrim, Solid Stone, Basil O’Glue, Nick Varon and more. 2022 was a milestone year for Newman with release of his debut artist album, Wonder of You. His album, including 12 songs ranging from the Organic House to the Downtempo Electronica genre, was a deep, melodic, and introspectively beautiful masterpiece. As a DJ/producer, Newman appreciates the sounds of fellow artists Budakid, Robbie Akbal, Gai Barone, Guy J, Navar, Pole Folder, Yuriy from Russia, Edvard Hunger, Stanisha and MUUI, among others. Looking ahead, Newman hopes to continue his uprising and become a fulltime DJ/producer in the future.

Alain M. started DJ’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.
Over his years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday, Ultraviolet, Expeditions and more, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay
mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.
In 2019 he started Ottawa Prog Vibes, which has grown into a weekly radio show that has been broadcast on several radio stations including Cosmos Radio (Germany), Dinámica Radio (Argentina), and currently Beach Radio (UK), Chill Lover Radio (New York) and Blast the Radio (Ottawa).
Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on UK-based Beach Radio and on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium).
Alain has also produced and co-produced a few original tracks, released on Future Avenue, BeKool Records, What Happens Records, with more on the way.
He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, The Netherlands, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse
Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.

The fourth edition of Batch Plant sees four tracks curated by Berlin-based producer and analog-digital hybrid live artist Danny Kotz, adding his own mark in the shape of the remix at number 5.

First serving comes via Yoikol, a Spanish producer whose penchant for classic analogue synths is evident in “Selective”. Kicks and pads make up the centerpiece, while a backdrop of solid bass and melancholic stirred synths make for a lively melody.

A slew of minimal melodics enters afloat on “Alva”, Italian producer’s Simon Prod concoction. Spacious pads and airy synths pave the way for a smooth groove with all essential elements present.  
 
Steven Cock is no stranger to MOC and he brings his signature bounce appeal on the compilation in the form of Complete Dedication. A playful piece, with neatly layered synth coils and glitchy textures, it’s definitely an energetic pick-me-up.

Aegean influences galore on Mr Dello’s Pashtunwali. The Greek producer brings about a powerful techno exploration with an inverted groove, immersed in zippy synths and effervescent slabs. The most dynamic piece of the whole offering, it’s the perfect late night dungeon track.

Used to be formerly known as DEKAY, Danny Kotz is a Musician, Producer, and DJ/Live act. Currrently based in Israel, Originally hails from Jerusalem and now resides in Berlin. in the last 15 years, Danny has been known for his incursions into the deep end of spacious minimal techno and deep house.  Both as a producer and a remixer, his fascinating driven, uplifting live sets and his unique and sometimes peculiar electronic production style is blending between his love for analog synths and digital sound design. His musical background as a jazz keyboard player and his passion for electronic music production in the studio, turned him into  a multi versatile musician. You can find in his musical resume productions which are ranging between deep techno and house, minimal, electro, synth-pop, and experimental Avantgarde. In the past 15 years, Danny has been touring and performing around Berlin and Europe's leading clubs, and  has been releasing music under different aliases and labels. He had also been collaborating with many other artists as well. One of these interesting projects was a collaboration with Dj Magit Cacoon that resulted in a Remixes EP to the album Voyage 34 of the legendary musician Steven Wilson and his band Porcupine Tree.
On the visual side of his work, is the production of ecstatic music videos  to top up the music. The video clip of the title track of his EP “Reject” with Avi Caspi on  “made of CONCRETE”, was supported by Kompakt records and had been constantly reposted on their social media channels. The release received positive reviews on various platforms such as Groove magazine XlR8R When we dip, and Beatport to name a few. Danny’s music was as well supported and played by major DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Nicole Moudaber, Terrence Parker, Ejeca, Richie Hawtin, Agoria, And Charlotte De Wette. For the last 3 years, Danny was busy manifesting his two old dreams. Setting up his own band and his own Music label in the form of De Wolt and Hypernatural Recordings which he shares with both of his buddies and partners in crime Bobby Starrr and Stefano Di Puma aka Berry Feels.  Topped by two music videos, the release of the debut conceptual album LP ‘Lost and Found In Berlin’  with De Wolt this year, has marked a major mile stone in Danny’s crier as well as an indie electronic artist and producer and performer. With these platforms, he is fulfilling both of his passions to Club music,  indie music production and songwriting and playing Live shows.
