Set for release on 8th August, Forensic Records sub-label Twelvepoint returns with its fifth release, and this time label boss Fordal is back with a stunning deep vocal original that’s already turning heads. Rich in texture and emotion, the track fuses moody atmospherics, melodic depth and a driving groove. A haunting vocal glides across the arrangement, giving it real weight on the floor and plenty of replay value for deeper radio shows. On remix duties, chart-topping electronica and breaks producer Ranj Kaler returns to Twelvepoint with a fresh rework. Known for his tight grooves and musicality, Ranj reshapes the original into a rolling, uplifting breaks journey that retains the emotional core of the vocal while opening it up for more eclectic sets.

Also joining the release is Lexicon Avenue, label head and pioneer of the progressive house scene. His remix ventures into darker territory, featuring heavy basslines, stripped-back drums, and a chord structure that unfolds slowly around the vocal. Jackie Jeff makes a powerful return to One Of A Kind with his five-track EP Ancient Planet. On remix duties, Salt Lake City’s Donny Carr delivers a masterful progressive rework of Ancient Planet, layering groove and emotion in equal measure. Sunexplosion dives into a more melodic and dreamlike corner of Progressive House with Phantom | Starcore | Gimmick — a deep and emotional three-track release. The title track Phantom is a collaboration between Slovak producer Allex and rising Russian talent Flaist. Flaist brings a cinematic, ambient-influenced edge, while Allex delivers his signature precision and drive. Both artists create a lush, layered opener full of melodic depth. Quickly a full bassline is introduced together with metal-like percussions and whispering noises. Once the brass hoots its melody and the violins start screaming the magic of 'Exceptions' is complete. This is a track full with tension, harmony and power. Such wonderful work by Yeröm once again!

'Control' is something totally different than the title track. It has a real housy feel to it. Smartly placed percussions and a boomy bassline set the tone. A never-ending vocal slips in, giving it a mesmerizing touch. And once the piano starts playing, working wonderfully together with the rhythm of the bassline, 'Control' is born! The classical touch together with the grabbing vocal make this track a real beauty and will do some damage in the club for sure!
Cliff de Zoete finally returns to Aftertech Records and once again he shows us where he is made of. Mesmerizing bells take you on a journey right from the start. They slowly bring you to an upcoming melody that quickly is accompanied by a smooth bassline. While shakers and drums float around in the air the track keeps on gaining in power until the break arrives. The chord play of the bassline and the heavenly melodic elements make you drift away in Cliff's musical dream. A real masterpiece!
Di Rugerio turned the housy feel of 'Control' into something progressive. The main element is quickly uncovered in which a repeating melody plays the lead. A real classical build-up with layer on layer works great while the lead is accompanied by pads that seem to drift away like waves, taking you further into the track. When the break arrives and a sweet melody is added it all seems to come together. A beautiful serene track which is the perfect addition to this great EP!
