Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

An eventful year is coming to an end. We have reached many milestones with our podcast series and our record label. In addition, we could finally continue our own event series and invited many friends to play in our living room. An absolute highlight was our summer tour with gigs in Gran Canaria and Thailand. We would like to thank everyone who made this year so special for us. And how could we do that better than with music?

Not only the aspiring era of electronic music in the 90s, but also the passion for electronic sounds guided his way behind the domestic decks early on. The fire of a deep relationship with electronic music has definitely been boosted by this. So it should not take long before the passion for mixing and djing led to various own party series as well as to a residency in a club in his city of birth Göttin- gen. Other stations followed, such as a weekly show at the online radio We-love-house.fm, or vari- ous gigs, for example in the legendary Stammheim Kassel, the Warehouse in Cologne or the Juicy- Beats Festival in Dortmund. In his adopted hometown Hamburg, Herr Oppermann is a regularly act in the local clubs of the city as well as a host of the Hamburg based podcast series „Klangextase“.
As a DJ, Herr Oppermann transforms his dedication to music to the audience, combining classic and modern elements of electronic music. His style describes a varied journey between deep,minimalist elements and Tech – House, turning each of his sets into a journey of sound with a lot of variety.
With his releases on Tach & Nacht and Amber Recordings, he also shows his producer qualities by transferring his close relationship with electronic music into melodic tech house tracks.

ROUMEX was founded at the beginning of 2016 and unites the genres of Techno and Deephouse. Every track or single idea emerges from classical instruments such as a piano or a violin. The integration of orchestral instruments is a crucial element of their live show.
Before their paths crossed, Johannes and Phillipp already gained experience in different music projects. Their passion for music also developed during a professional violin or piano studies programme at the college.
With a heavy emphasis on incorporating and drawing inspiration from the classical world, the duo have gone on to support the likes of Bart Skills, Einmusik, Felix Kröcher, Reinier Zonneveld and more. Two sets have also been supported by the homepage of “Jeden Tag ein Set”. Following a release on Pour La Vie Rec., and Erick Morillo’s inclusion of the title track ‘Saphirah’ in his 2017 Subliminal Sessions compilation,
here see the pair return to deliver their debut Kittball Records EP ’’Tantalis’’ to close out 2017.
Hard work, the ambition to constantly improve themselves and follow new musical paths drives them to create their unique sound. Their future aim? To get the chance to play at festivals containing personal memories and enchant every single visitor with the passion for music they live for.
