“Music expresses what can not be said, and what it is impossible to keep silent about.” This quotation from the french writer Victor Hugo describes what has always driven Cary Crank: to find a language that is multi-layered enough to express that which moves him.

Cary knew early on that music was his language. Growing up in Frankfurt, Germany, he witnessed the birth of techno live, and thoroughly immersed himself into its soundscape. An enthusiast of other genres as well, he played the guitar in rock bands, and produced electro pop for various projects. He built his own studio, which he transforms and reinvents time and time again.

Since turning to Melodic Techno in 2018, he released several tracks and remixes on labels like Parquet Recordings, Freegrant Music, Beatfreak Recordings, Monkey League, Flemcy Music, Sunexplosion Records and many more. His releases hit the Beatport Charts on a regular basis. The energy and analogue vibes in Cary's tracks are palpable, as he always travels to the core essence of a sound, and brings emotions to the dancefloor.

Today we introduce to you our long time friend  Gefangen Intrance, his sets are always dynamic. You already know him from allot of legendary sets on soundcloud. His set today brings us to the right atmosphere to dance. Enjoy this powerful set and let us know what you think of it.

Kannst du dich kurz vorstellen?
Gefangen Intrance aka Toko, Abkürzung für seinen bürgerlichen Namen Torsten Koths, fing in seiner frühen Kindheit schon an Kassetten zu sammeln und wechselte später zum Vinyl. Was im Elternhaus mit Kellerpartys anfing, entwickelte sich im erwachsenen Alter zum Auflegen in der NRW Clubscene wie auch im angesagten Poison Club am Düsseldorfer HBF. Am meisten geprägt wurde er durch die New Wave Zeit und dem damaligen Scene Club Tribehouse in Neuss. Diese Zeit erlebte er mit einem seiner besten Freunde. Zusammen in der Clubscene unterwegs waren Sie gefangen in der Musik und in Trance versetzt. Nachdem sein Freund 2010 verstarb entschied sich Toko seinen Namen in Gefangen Intrance zu ändern. Da es ein großer Wunsch der beiden war gemeinsam Musik zu machen entschied sich Toko für eine grundsätzliche Veränderung und rief die Seite Gefangen Intrance ins Leben. Seine Leidenschaft und Hingabe zur Musik ist heute größer denn je. Mit jedem einzelnen Set möchte er uns eine Geschichte erzählen und uns auf eine Reise mitnehmen durch Raum und Zeit.

Die Jahreszeit ist gekommen, in der sich die Blätter der Bäume rot-orange einfärben und letztendlich abfallen. Jedoch sehen die Blätter nicht jeden Herbst so schön bunt aus, denn dies hängt von dem Wetter ab, welches Einfluss auf die tollen Farben der Blätter nimmt. Brillante herbstfarbige Blätter entstehen durch warme, sonnige Tage und kühle Nächte. Regen und bewölkte Tage dagegen reduzieren die Lichtintensität und damit die Farbe. Der Herbst ist aber nicht nur bunt, sondern läutet auch die dunkle und kalte Zeit des Jahres ein. Eine Zeit in der man sich im Hause beim Kamin versammelt, eng zusammenrückt und Geschichten lauscht. Also eine perfekte Jahreszeit für deep stories. Unser italienischer Gast Massimo Logli hat sich so seine Gedanken über diese Jahreszeit gemacht und sie musikalisch festgehalten. Viele Spaß mit seiner deep story.
