Dan Sieg & Sam Wilkinson, better known as Dan & Sam, dazzled international progressive fans and DJ's alike with their debut effort on our imprint, "Breaking The Illusion". Not only did it receive great international DJ support, but the single also went on to reach #2 on the Beatport Trance releases chart, as well as earn a spot on Max Graham's acclaimed "Cycles 4" compilation [Armada]. Their sophomore effort, "Walls", is another ornate and melodic progressive gem. This time around, they have recruited promising vocal talent Maxx Hennard, whose rich baritone adds a warmth and "sophisticated" sentimentality to the track. The one and only remix in the package comes courtesy of American sensation Shawn Mitiska, whose decorated veteran career includes numerous solo hits, most recently "Salt" [Enhanced]. Supported on countless occasions by Armin Van Buuren, amongst other top international DJ's, Shawn Mitiska has been a truly humbling addition to our label roster this past year, with standout remixes on Schodt's "Heatwave" and Shingo Nakamura's "Whither". His work here, a vocal rendering of "Walls", affirms that he truly possesses a remarkable talent for crafting intelligent and uplifting peak-hour tunes. 

The Original Mix by Dan & Sam kicks off with a lush chord progression, a central motif of the track, and is soon joined by early echoes of Maxx Hennard's stunning vocal. After a quick mini-break, the bassline pulls back slightly, setting the stage brilliantly for Hennard's soulful and evocative verse. The memorable lyrics culminate in the chorus with the line: "The only walls we've got, are the walls we built ourselves". It's a breath-taking moment, augmented by the gorgeous delayed vox and lead synth lines that fill out the soundscape. In the drop, the central groove teasingly returns with just the kick, followed soon thereafter by the arrival of the full rhythm and (chorus hook) in full, anthemic force.

Hamburg-based musician Jan Martin collaborated with Silk's original muse Mango at the end of last year on "Pillows", an emotive, pop-influenced progressive house gem. We're thrilled to present brand new remixes of this track by two wonderful talents: Russian sensation Stendahl and Estonian talent Sure-I-Can.

With a "vintage" progressive house sound that is reminiscent of the golden age of the genre, Stendahl has become one of the most consistent contributors to our parent label over the past 12 months. His remix centers on a minimalistic, Mango-influenced groove, which is punctuated by an uplifting chord progression. Meanwhile, Jan's beautiful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, as with the original version, deeply penetrate the listener's soul and remain there long after the listening experience.

Sure-I-Can makes his Silk debut with a lovely deep-progressive take. A funky and light-hearted, Sunday-afternoon groove is met by a hypnotic lead melody. In the main break, the refrain - enhanced with gorgeous piano accompaniment and filtered chords - washes over the listener, in its fully radiant, late-summer glory.

Hausman first appeared on our label in 2018, when he graced us with the extraordinary “Aether” EP; more recently, he delivered an equally memorable new take on Marsh & Katherine Amy’s “Life On The Shore,” alongside Wynnwood. For his latest release, Hausman joins forces once again with fellow Boston-based talent 5ALVO, who, incidentally, made his Silk Music debut with “Erebus” (off the aforementioned “Aether” EP). The promising vocalist (and label newcomer) Lumynesynth completes the trio; together they present “Eden,” an emotive and lyrically profound progressive gem.

The first sampler from Colorscapes Volume Two is here!

Colorize's annual compilation series 'Colorscapes' returned for Volume Two at the start of October and saw strong success, landing at #3 on the iTunes dance chart and generating quite the buzz. Now Colorize brings you the first sampler from the compilation, highlighting some of its most exciting tracks.

Opening the sampler is British DJ / Producer Boxer with 'Feels' - he's been a household name on Colorize for the past few years and this stellar new production with vocals from Kate Walsh showcases his enormous growth as an artist, with his distinctive mix of deep and progressive house on fine display.
Belarusian producer Heard Right graces the sampler with his slick collaboration 'Oceans' with OAI - airy bells and darting synths making it an exceptional delight from the two. 

We also have debut releases on the label from a host of exciting artists - Australian DJ / Producer Tygris brings ethereal production 'Dark Sun' to the fore, we get the full vocal version of mesmerising track 'Division' from Alex Breitling, Che-Yung makes a splash with his sublime, finely-calibrated track 'Rainy Sleep' and Swedish producer Klur conjures up a transporting remix of Cabriolet Paris' 'Cloudwalker'.
