Manolito and myself have been sharing for some times a penchant for electronic music generally qualified as intelligent. In addition to putting our words here on albums from fascinating artists, we've been feeling more and more the need for more artistic and literary commitment. With the help of a faithful reader, Mourad Kachroud, we have recently decided to throw ourselves into the exciting project of creating a label. Without any conceit vis-à-vis labels like Tympanik, Hymen, Ad Noiseam, Ultimae or Boltfish, to whom we devote an admiration without any limit. Even if Synaptic Rachitis is already born in our minds, its real administrative and artistic life is just emerging. We take the opportunity given by our blog to publish our first compilation. It includes tracks created by the artists who put us in a flutter at each release. Because music doesn't belong only the elite that creates it, this compilation is free. We want to thank the artists who accepted the game, gathered under the non professional and frenchy name of Chroniques Electroniques. We hope you will be numerous following us through this new adventure called Synaptic Rachitis. The publication of When Light's Drillin The Haze on Chroniques Electroniques is very special for us. Hoping that this first cast feeds you with emotions and bliss.

r.roo is a young artist from the Ukraine. With "Broken Time", he presents us an incredibly adult and varied IDM album. Playful melodies, combined with intelligent beats and effects are making, "Broken Times" to an album that is never boring. 16 wonderful tracks are on the CD. Includes two remixes of the artists Tapage and Roots cloud. 

It's hard to believe that such a young musician delivers such a great and adult piece of work. The musical future is definitely on the side of r.roo and you will certainly hear a lot from this young, talented artist.

"Typically in my work I deal with fixed concepts and defined parameters. With “Entrop” the concept was to not deal with such notions and instead to embrace chaos. I built a noisy little synth – a Ciat-Lonbarde Esoterica Spike Ring – which I modified with further feedback loops to intensify its unpredictable nature. The drum track is not programmed – instead the drum computer follows the pulses of the synth. The recordings on this tape are edited and layered from several sessions.
