Thank you, Cymatics, for this dope opportunity. I had a lot of fun with this sample pack. And I was particularly taken by your sample, "Retro". Here's a brief overview of my submission:

The first 30-ish seconds, I really just wanted to show off how sexy this sample is before I chopped it to bits. I pitched the "Retro" sample down 3 steps and let it play out with the cat calls. From there I transition us into the main portion of my submission; the chopped section. 

It may be difficult to recognize the original sample in this section, but this entire section was chopped from the same "Retro" sample. Giving off an OldSchool, militant sort of energy, I take us through multiple different chops which really highlight the beauty of the piano. 

Finally, I show off some of my composition and arrangement skills as I use some orchestral instruments to bridge us into the original sample BPM. Now here, I really wanted to showcase the beauty of what you guys created. You'll note I pretty much let the sample ride, cause how could not when you're working with such gold?! I took the saxophone stem, pitched it up an octave, phased it, and panned it, adding a nice layer that accommodates the overarching sax melody. Just wanted to show off a bit of my sound design. To finish the track out, I bring the listener full circle and let the sample ride. It's such a gorgeous sample, I knew I wanted to let it ride at least once in this track. And this felt like such an opportune spot to do so.

Thank you guys for listening to my submission. I am constantly telling my twitch and discord community that when it comes to Royalty Free sample material, Cymatics does it the best. I truly believe you guys deliver a quality and fullness that is rarely found in Royalty Free samples. I can't recommend Cymatics enough. Thank you for all the dope samples over the years.
