This one took ages to mix, lots of layers and so much resonance in the sample and vocal. Really liked this concept though so I persevered with it, hope people like it! I'm defo happy with how this sounds on it's own without any vocals over the top, the vocals in the sample sort of make this into it's own song, and the variation on flips and layers definitely helps, despite making this a tough one to mix, worth it imo.

Really happy with how this one came together, the sample gave me loads to work with and I wanted to give all the different parts I flipped their own spot in this beat. The way the flips build on each other is one of my favourite things about this one, the BPM stays the same throughout the track but by adding more chops it gives the track more energy, which I then tried to mirror by adding more groove to the drums etc. The 16 note groove with the guitar chops layered ontop is definitely my favourite part of the beat, don't think it would work as well without the buildup before it though, just overall proud of the structure, sound and overall outcome here.

Changing Time

Made this track the day before the album dropped, knew I had to include it in the album somehow so I had a short snippet of it as a bonus track right at the end of the album. Always loved it when albums had hidden bonus tracks right at the end of the album back in the day, so thought it was cool to do the same thing on this one. Spent this week working out the full remix for this one, flipped the sample a couple more times too. Peace!
