I was sitting on this beat for years until Distant Cry sent me the snippet I posted on Instagram when I made it asking if I ever dropped it. I almost never post a snippet of a beat and then never drop a beat, and to be honest I'd completely forgotten about this one. Managed to get a cool Onyx remix out of it so I'm defo glad I revisited it. This sample was also absolutely bodied in the Mobb Deep Survival Of The Fittest Remix from the 90s 12" release, definitely check that if you haven't heard it. Peace!!

Peace!! 2023 was a dope year for sure, looking back I'm defo very happy with everything I was able to achieve and put out. Next year is going to be a big step up 100%, mad excited to share what I've been working on. 

Been sitting on this remix for a while and I decided to drop it as the last one of this year, really like the vibe the beat and acapella both match each others energy pretty well. Always fun remixing Onyx they're pretty versatile can sound good over a mad range of beats. Also I think this is the first time I ever dropped a remix after the instrumental.
