it took me almost two years to release new music, and that’s because of a number of reasons. anxiety, self-doubt, fear of failure (what does that even mean in art?). i got stuck making the same kind of music, using similar sounds, and constantly thinking about whether people would like what i’m making or not. it took a lot of conscious effort to be able to overcome that, or at least find a number of ways to silence it. the result is a 5-song EP that i feel really proud of: ‘When there is nothing to hear you start hearing things’, that i’m releasing in july. the single, ‘Nowhere Never’, is about trying to remember that the anxiety-inducing moments we imagine are technically happening nowhere and never. a reminder to stay here and now.

The amazing Acid Arab invited me to come play at two of their "La Hafla" nights in May 2020; one in Rex Club Paris and one in Gretchen Berlin. Due to obvious reasons both nights were postponed, so we thought it would be nice to make a podcast for you in the meantime. Enjoy 70 minutes of my favourite eastern electronic music and edits of the past years! ID's on request in the comments as usual :)
