Nice one DT, i'd have preferred a slightly beefier kick for this track but I think that might be a distracting. Really nice soundscape, sound design and open mix. so well done!

catchy! i was kind of hoping for the bassline from the first section to make a glorious return later, but i suppose that's easily solved by just pressing play again... :)

Nice transition - that bass note is awesome.

Not my style so hard to judge if it's good Trance - but it's good music!  nicely produced, great sounds and a fun listen!

One Synth Challenge #154: Triple Cheese by u-he

I tried to make an orchestral song using ONLY Triple Cheese by U-He, which is a freeware synthesizer that doesn't not use samples. Usually for this type of song you'd use an orchestral library comprised of actual samples of people playing real instruments (which would have made this sound way better and way more real), but that wasn't the challenge here. I wanted to synthesize all the sounds and make it as real as possible. I don't think the results sound real, but it sounds better than I expected!

It somehow feels like sacrilege to move so close to Fagen and Becker and mess it up with a dirty Switched-On-Moog lead.

But I think I made up for it by elevating  my way out of trouble by way of dreamy Lyle Maysian key changes in the chorus.

SeBaer - Why would I ever ...? (KVROSC154 - Triple Cheese *Fourth Place*)

For this track I used 11 instances of a wonderful synth named Thorn by Dmitry Sches (DS Audio). All modulations of the parameters have been done live by making use of aftertouch and/or the modulation wheel. So no automations other than some volume changes here and there. In a studio setting, I think this makes the music nice and organic. Of course, a DJ on stage always does this. 

The title “Anemoia” is referring to the phenomenon of feeling nostalgic to a time or place that one has not experienced before...

Inspired by First Knight, this track tells the story of Camelot’s rise and fall. At first, the kingdom thrives in peace and prosperity. Then, the arrival of Lancelot brings both hope and glory to Camelot, but also ignites a spark in Guinevere’s heart. Torn between duty and desire, she is consumed by guilt and despair, knowing she has given herself to Lancelot despite her promise to Arthur. As their forbidden love unfolds, tensions grow, and when Arthur discovers the truth, emotions and loyalties are tested. The music reflects both the fierce battles on the battlefield and the silent struggles within the hearts of its greatest heroes, culminating in the inevitable fall of the legendary kingdom.
