Exclusive Toto Chiavetta 'The Paranoid GoGo'

Multinotes is the union of Italian music mainstays and enthusiasts Lehar, Musumeci and Olderic and depicts their vision and approach of modern electronic music. With the label's first compilation, 'Exhibition Vol. 1' the three even-handedly DJs and producers brought together artists and music from their closer environment to showcase the label's almost infinite potential to shape the scene's current and future sound. Multi-talented, cherished and respected Toto Chiavetta, widely known for releases on Innervisions or Mule Musiq, contributes what he claims to be his most 'crazy' production up to date, namely the track 'The Paranoid GoGo'.  What characterizes Toto's contribution to the EP is the typical yet always charming symbiosis of a stripped-down sounding bass line and the intriguing mental synths, which are accompanied by few vocal-snippets and are carefully implemented into the track. 'The Paranoid GoGo' invites the psyche to literally and naively strip naked to then realize that it is possibly sized up by an imaginative audience as the voice in your head plays tricks with your mind while you ride the dance-wave of the bass, midrange and treble.

Multinotes' compilation 'Exhibition Vol. 1'  will be released November 5th, 2018.

D-Formation’s Beatfreak Limited continues a great start to 2019 by welcoming Alexander Alar to the label for his debut EP. Based in Bali, Indonesia, Alexander started fresh with his new alias less than a year ago and has already notched releases on Dear Deer, Highways Records and Songspire Records. Now debuting on Beatfreak’s Limited division he presents the much anticipated ‘Budapest / Buenos Aires’ EP.

Both cities are known for their rich history in progressive music and Alexander has done a fine job paying homage to them beginning with ‘Budapest’. A slick, modern piece of melodic techno with an emphasis on warm grooves and crunchy designs. It’s this contrast, coupled with chugging rhythms and a stellar complement of effects which keep the dramatic appeal high throughout. A twisted lead synth gets teased sparingly, and rightly so as it adds just the right amount of cosmic appeal without overshadowing the the fluid framework below.

The companion piece ‘Buenos Aires’ leans a touch closer to pure progressive territory yet still sits comfortably in a cross genre realm. Finely tuned drums instantly grab your attention along with a rippling low end and spastic synth designs. A smart tonal theme fades to prominence during the break, undergoing some clever and mind bending modulation before reaching a tasteful peak and unleashing the groove for a driving finale. It rounds out what are two spectacular tracks from Alexander who is certainly an artist to keep a close eye on as 2019 unfolds.

The inspiration for SAMAHA’s third release remarkably lies on his own skin. The Seattle resident’s Endless Sands of Time debut plays off the long-running manga “One Piece” and his favorite amphibian character “Kizaru." The toad’s been of such great influence that SAMAHA even honored him with an inner bicep tattoo! The title track’s gritty main synths fittingly mimic computerized croaks, while its oriental wind and string instruments provoke images of the Far East. Unsurprisingly, many of “Kizaru’s” samples were collected on a recent trip to Japan.

Ukrainian artist The Organism is the entire example of what is said: multigenred, always unpredictable producer with the signature style embracing the best of hypnotic bass vibrations, the exciting vocals and the mystic ethnic sounds.
Last year The Organism gained massive support thanking to his 'Reflection' track which was played by Solomun, Ame, Dixon which is pretty enough to say at this point, not saying about a line of dancefloors worldwide.

Main title track has already impressed the thousands of people dancing to Diynamic's boss Solomun at his Cercle set at Théâtre Antique: dotty and accurate bass of the track comes out as a great platform of the whole track's mellow structure which is the perfect combination of the groovy and tense house beat with the melodic leitmotif.
Non less than the electronic prodigy - that's how we can briefly describe Tim Engelhardt who is remixing 'Gypsy'. German producer who has so far released his music at such world renowned imprints as Steve Bug's Pokerflat, fryhide curated by HOSH, John Digweed's Bedrock which are the main but far not all on Tim's achievements list. Tim's remix is a steady filler of electric filtered bass which comes as a bone of this brilliant version.
Progressive nature of 'Dioxide' with a dramatic melodies leads us to Eastern flavored 'Root'.
