Going to the Beach

this isn't done but i wanted to have a way to share it without it being a pain in the ass

Apple juice and sleepy eyes are things that make me feel alright
Kisses from your closest friends, slightly cool breezes and glitter pens
Shady spots on forest plots made for napping and gentle talks
The sound of bare feet on wooden floors, soft brown fur and puppy snores

And I feel fine about 50% of the time
I’d say I’m doing well, that’s two times better than feeling like hell
I sleep at night, I rise when it’s light, bugs still bite, but only while i’m sleeping tight 

Rolled up jeans and cartoon fights are things that make me feel alright
Peeling dried paint from paper plates, souvenirs from different states
Staying up all night with friends songs we start but never end
Vintage clothes and midnight snacks, creative insomniacs 

And I feel fine about 50% of the time
