There are a monumental number of smackers on Oceansong, but one that really spoke to me both musically, and emotionally, was Koa's Drown. The original had so much space given to every element, so much impact to each sound that I knew I just needed to make a remix. Beautiful, haunting vocals, a simplistic yet interesting melody - just so many things that allow my mind to wander. I wanted to honor the original's emotional standing with my own spin, and I'm really proud of the final product. c:

The theme of this album was war, and I I made this track with the intent of it subtly representing that.

I'd like to thank all my prelisteners, my friends and the P@D team for their support and feedback, allowing this experiment to be the best thing I've made so far, and first real jump into bass music (more coming). I made this song in three consecutive days while trying to be Electric Mantis's Daybreak lmao. This was a test to show off my diversity while still keeping a familiar vibe. For me, these works are momentous transitional pieces stylistically and technically - without an important part of my development as an artist would be missing.
