Coming back to this set, what is the dreamy opening track? 🙏

It felt very special to play on an artwork I helped build, deep in the South African desert. The sculpture—a pregnant woman lying on her back— represented a symbol of peace and unity. A place of rebirth. A space for transformation and release.

I wanted to play a downtempo set that honored that feeling. It is a compilation of some of the tracks that touched me the most since discovering downtempo in 2020 (including one of the very first downtempo track I ever danced to).

According to legends from the Middle Ages, individuals who were bitten by a tarantula spider 🕷️ would enter a state of madness. The only cure was to engage in a spirited dance known as the Tarantella, which would help to sweat out the venom and find relief and restoration. The Tarantella symbolizes the healing and transformative power of music and dance.
