The English but Berlin-based SY (DE) lands on Re.Face Records with a two-track ep on digital, signing the 23rd chapter of the label.
The work opens with the first track : "You", able to turn the listener with a bouncy groove into an hypnotic mental state. "You Know" completes the journey with an harmonic composition emphasized by celestial pads. All in all we are talking about a great sound made specifically to warm the stage or at the same time to drop the dance floor.

Sweely - Make The Connection

Right from the start, the bold confident and chunky beat of "Jaz Hans" made us feel this was no joking matter! This dubby tech house track is a well-produced piece of music. The nicely placed vocal snippets keep the groove going as we move towards darker jazzy, almost confusing atmospheres with rhodes & vibraphones and suddenly we are greeted by somewhat unexpected yet very welcome tribal chanting voices - wow! Jaz Hans has just the right amount of ingredients, combined with a subtle narration.

Risky biscuit takes the energy level slightly up a notch with a more "straight forward" construction. We absolutely loved how the contrast set us straight when the solid beat kicks back in after the lovely enchanting cello foray. In these challenging times, we really can't wait to see the damage these two will be doing on the floor!
