We feature ‘Discolouration’ a slick entry into the world of minimalistic techno that leans on intricate rhythms and syncopated synth lines through this dizzying locked groove.

Mullingar native Thomas Kimurray (Offtrack) has become a staple in the Irish techno scene within recent years through his work with Labworks as well as earning his stripes as a DJ across the country. Thomas’s skills in the booth has seen him share with some of techno’s most revered acts including; Sunil Sharpe, Paula Temple, Tommy Holohan, Cailín and more.

Offtrack’s 8 track LP, A journey through loop-driven hypnotic techno with a 90s taste. Each track showcases Offtrack’s masterful production skills, combining rich intricate rhythms and pulsating basslines to create a immersive listening experience. The album’s seamless blend of rhythm, atmosphere, textures and hypnotic melodies creates a captivating listening experience that showcases Offtrack’s skill and taste for the genre.

We premiere ‘Discolouration’ a stripped back take on classic sci-fi inspired techno funk. Offtrack keeps the track minimalistic and pushes each element to the limit, squeezing out rhythms and grooves from each instrument. The track’s half-stepping shuffle gives it an infectious groove that revolves in shifting cycles, Offtrack has perfected the art of subtle movement within the tracks framework to keep the track rolling and high-octane while still also simplistic. Echelon takes you on a trip into the core of subterranean techno. Starting in the ominous vacuum of ambient, Intact Code transitions to droning house, to finally arrive at the nerve-wrecking rhythms for which the pioneer is known for.

The journey of Intact Code is conspicuous, while its destination is clear.

Having his roots in the 90s, the Dutchman Jeroen Search is a veteran in the underground electronic-music scene. As an inspiration for artists along the full spec­trum, he is a delicacy for techno connoisseurs. Jeroen is recognized for his progressive consistency, but always crossing the front lines of musical inventionality. Within his Echelon alias he pushes his experimental boundaries by mixing satellite sensor data from outer space with his trademark of uncompromising techno. Together with Amsterdam based Lazy Reflex Complex, Jeroen Search releases an album honoring his legacy while surprising his audience with vibrations from other galaxies.

As of late, Charlie has dived deep into the world of modular & performing live. It is here where it seems he has found his comfort zone & proving to everyone that this is the case. Single handedly he has mastered the craft, delivering one of the most impressive live sets we have seen.

Naturally Selected 001: Chaz Moloney Live

"ASCENSION" is the debut album release from artist ston, an independently released project. 

For Ascension, I set out to explore hard house, bassline, and electronic elements throughout.

This body of work means a lot to me; it took up six months of my life and taught me so much about music production. It also taught me the importance of committing to what you set out to achieve and the struggles that can come with that. Most importantly, it showed me that imperfection is okay when the alternative is procrastination.

I created this album using the DAW FL Studio, and as of its release, I’ve begun transitioning to Ableton, a commitment I set for myself when I first began this project.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that moving forward, I want to dive into more intricate ideas and trust my creative process without falling into the trap of comparing my work to others. I’m eager to experiment with more abstract percussions, deeper emotional progressions, and unconventional grooves. It’s going to be a journey, but I’m excited for it to begin.
