@theshadowchild dropped his 'Connected' album a little while back, and now a host of producers rework tracks from the record on the 'ReConnected' remix collection. Swedish talent @rimbaudian hasn't put a foot wrong to date, and his remix of 'Steak Fingers' sees him tread new territory. Ravey, euphoric, garage-inflected big room house with a deep atmospheric edge. Just listen to it will you? My words are no good here.

Digital Devil release number six brings you house music By Greg Fenton, with his excellent EP "Hot Mess". 

Greg Fenton, is one of the key Manchester DJs and a renowned producer whose love of music is reflected in his mix of records. Making his name in the dance era and clubs like the Hacienda he was a key fixture in that mad period but is still out there on the cutting edge.

Hot Mess: Piercing strings set a backdrop, as the dark bassline pushes the track forward. Awesome arpeggios bubble away in the background while the drums ride all over this track to carry it home. Perfectly placed percussion and the floating cavernous vocal sample come along for the journey.
