Something a little different from what people expect from me.  The title "The Dying Fled the Dead" is taken from a poem by Robert E Howard.

This is a bit of a tester for a solo project that I hope to be pursuing in the near future and far from a final version.

TJA - Impasse

First appearing on the Sheffield music scene with Extreme Maggot Infestation, the project Dyscaphia was started by Tarkan Alp after the band experienced several lineup changes and grew beyond the pieces that had been written both musically and lyrically. Dyscaphia took a more focused and technical approach although this project eventually fizzled out due to members living in various locations and personal commitments made rehearsals a rare occurrence. After being roped in for vocal duties with Bal-Sagoth at the last minute for the band's Liverpool show in 2011, the possibility of a new project was discussed and eventually came into being under the moniker of Kull. With composition being undertaken by Chris and Jonny Maudling, Tarkan was able to focus exclusively on vocals and lyrics. Returning to musical composition with Sacerdotum, a musical continuity can be seen - drawing from elements of death, black and thrash metal as well as more wide-ranging styles.
